1. Introduction
May the peace and grace of God be with you abundantly. This report summarizes the Gospel outreach, testimony, prayer, and follow-up work carried out in the towns of Tulluboolloo, Walisoo, and Dilaallaa, as well as their surrounding areas. This report focuses on the results and process of the work, without including individuals' names or personal phone numbers.
2. Gospel Outreach – Tulluboolloo Town
We preached the Gospel and gave testimony in the Tulluboolloo area. 38 people heard the Gospel; 5 of them believed; and 2 others committed to believing in the Lord Jesus. We focused on connecting those who believed with follow-up and the local church in their area.
3. Tulluboolloo – August 12 and 13, 2018
On August 12 and 13, 2018, we carried out Gospel outreach in Tulluboolloo town. In total, we preached the Gospel to 23 people: 15 people on August 12, and 8 people on August 13. During this time, no new believers were recorded in the outreach.
Note: Due to transportation conditions, distance, and limited vehicle availability, some remote areas could not be reached. We apologize for this shortcoming.
4. Gospel Outreach – Walisoo Town, August 14, 2018
On August 14, 2018, we preached the Gospel in Walisoo town and its surrounding area. 47 people heard the Gospel. During this reporting period, no new believers were recorded.
5. Gospel Outreach – Dilaallaa Town
Over the course of one week, we preached the Gospel to 107 people in Dilaallaa town. One person expressed belief in the Lord Jesus; another person, who had previously fallen away, showed that they had returned to the Lord. We have continued connecting these individuals with follow-up and the local church in their area.
Note: Due to time constraints and vehicle-related challenges, there were delays in the work. We apologize for this.
6. Gospel Outreach – Somboo Yabaataa, August 28 – September 1, 2018
In the South West Shawa Zone, Walisoo District, Somboo Yabaataa Kebele, we preached the Gospel and gave testimony from Wednesday through the Saturday before. Over 108 people heard the Gospel; two souls, together with their families, believed in the Lord Jesus. These individuals were handed over to the local church in their area to receive follow-up.
Note: The work phone's charge ran out and it was switched off at the time, so communication was interrupted for a short period. We apologize for this.
7. Gospel Outreach – Xiiqii Dooyyoo, September 3–7, 2018
In the South West Shawa Zone, Walisoo District, Xiiqii Dooyyoo Kebele, we carried out Gospel outreach. Over 183 people heard the Gospel; of these, it was reported that 13 people received the Lord Jesus as the Savior of their souls. Their follow-up has continued to be strengthened through the local church and leaders in their area.
Note: Many of those who heard the Gospel and believed could not be reached by phone. Therefore, strengthening follow-up through the local church and area leaders is essential.
8. Follow-up and Prayer – Tulluboolloo, August 26–27, 2018
In Tulluboolloo town, work was carried out to encourage, pray for, and follow up with people who had previously believed in the Lord Jesus. The purpose was to strengthen their faith and help them continue growing in their lives going forward.
10. Shortcomings and Challenges in the Work
- Transportation and vehicle challenges, especially in reaching remote areas.
- Delays that arose in the work due to time constraints.
- The work phone running out of charge and being switched off, interrupting communication for short periods.
- Some of those who heard the Gospel and believed could not be reached by phone.
- Family-related challenges faced by those working with us in the Gospel outreach.
11. Follow-up Plan and Next Steps
- Provide proper follow-up for those who heard the Gospel and believed.
- Support new believers in a coordinated way together with local churches.
- Continue prayer, Gospel teaching, and faith encouragement.
- Prepare a transportation plan in advance to address transport challenges.
- Properly record and report outreach results going forward.
12. Conclusion
Overall, good work has been accomplished in reaching many people with the Gospel, welcoming those who came to the Lord Jesus, and beginning their follow-up. May God bless this Gospel work; may He strengthen the souls who heard the Gospel, those who believed, and the local churches in their areas. Thank you for standing with us in this Gospel work.
